Happy 4 month birthday Beckett

Beckett is 4 months old...January 24th
Weight: 17 pounds 6 ounces (90th percentile)
Height: 27 1/4 inches (98th percentile)

Beckett is such a fun baby! We finally got our first giggles on 1/11/11! He is a tough audience though and doesn't pass out the giggles easily! The person that can make him giggle the easiest is his big sister Mia! The doctor also gave us the go ahead to start rice cereal. Beckett isn't very sure if he likes he big boy food!

Beckett we love you!

Guess who is 3 years old....Miss Mia!!!

Happy 3rd Birthday Mia!
Mia is officially 3 as of January 22nd. I cannot believe it!
Here are the stats!
Weight: 37 pounds (93rd percentile)
Height: 40 inches (97th percentile)
Some of my favorite things about little Miss Mia...
*She loves to sing and dance...especially if she has an audience!
*She says pee-jamas instead of pa-jamas!
*A hamburger to Mia is a handgaberg!
*She LOVES ketchup!
*She can sing her ABC's, knows how to count to 20. Recognizes most of her letters and numbers.
*She knows that her name starts with an "M" and points the letter "M" out on signs as we drive!
and there is so much more!!!

I love you Miss Mia. I am so glad that I have the opportunity to be your Mom! I am so excited to see what else you learn and accomplish in this coming year...you are an amazing little girl!

Let the party begin!
For Mia's party this year she wanted a princess party. So oh course she had to have a princess cake and play pin the crown on the princess! The party was a lot of fun- thanks friends and family for joining us in celebrating Mia's birthday!

Before the party Mia asked to go to McDonalds for lunch and to play so we invited her friend Lilli to come and play with her! They had a lot of fun!

Such cute little friends!

Mia and her cake and presents at her birthday party!

Playing pin the crown on the princess!

She has been wanting a hula hoop for a long time so Mom and Dad gave her one for her birthday! She is actually pretty good at the hula hoop (or hoopa loop as Mia calls it!)

She sang happy birthday to  herself!

Mmmmm....enjoying the cake!

Snow in St. George!

It snowed in St. George! Mia had so much fun playing in the snow so I thought I would share a few pictures!!!
Mia playing in the snow...yes I know she has a shovel from her sand set! We don't own anything to play with in the snow so we had to make do!

Sledding on cookie sheets...told you we had to make do!!!

Beckett all bundled up and cozy and enjoying the snow!

Birthday Shout Out!!!

One of my goals for the year is to do a birthday shout out on this blog for our family members! So here is the first birthday of the year.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY ALEX!!!
January 1st

New Years Eve Party

We spent New Years Eve with my family this year. It was a lot of fun. We had pizza, little smokies, meatballs, cheese ball and crackers, and lots more yummy food. We also had a little talent show where Tegan sang a couple songs (she even wrote one of the songs herself!), Dylan put on a magic show, Mia sang and danced for us (she made up a song called Wonderland and think I laughed so hard I almost peed my pants), and Samantha played the flute. After the talent show we had a little auction. We used life money and bid on items like candy, pop, gag gifts, etc. Everyone got involved and it was so much fun. I think the highlight of the auction was with Dylan. There were some items that you could see and others that were hidden. Well we were bidding on something that was hidden and Dylan just kept bidding and bidding. Well he won the item and guess what it was...it was a stale rice krispie treat. It was as hard as a rock. He was so mad! Well he made a deal with grandpa and grandpa bought the stale rice krispie treat from him so he could have some money to spend on the rest of the auction! Fun times. Happy New Year to everyone. I hope that the year 2011 will be great for everyone!

Jumping Jacks

Mia was invited to a birthday party at Jumping Jacks. She had a lot of fun and here are some pictures of her having some fun!!!

Thanks Nancy for inviting Mia...she had so much fun!!!

Christmas Salt Lake Trip

We went on a trip with Jon's family the day after Christmas. We were able to go to Temple Square and see the lights on Sunday night and then to a Jazz game on Monday night. It was a lot of fun!!! Thanks Lyle and Kellee for the fun trip- we had a blast!!!
Us in front of the Salt Lake Temple with all the pretty Christmas lights. One of the best things we did while on Temple Square was to go to the South Visitor Center and see the replica of the temple. It has a cut out on one side and you can see just how it looks on the inside of the Salt Lake Temple. We learned so many cool facts about the temple that we probably never would have learned. I definetely suggest that if you can go and see it you do!!!

Having fun at the mall before the Jazz game!

Allyson got her ears pierced and didn't even cry!!!

Jon got his phone autographed by Paul Millsap at the Jazz game. Jon had nothing else for him to sign so he signed his phone!

Beckett at his first Jazz game!

Mia enjoying the game!

Our family at the Jazz game before the game started! (Too bad they lost the game)

Our kiddo's....one is not very happy!

We were able to take a tour of the church office buildings and on the top floor there is an observation deck. We were able to get some pretty cool pictures!

And here is Mia being Mia. She loves to be in charge. Poor Alex!

Christmas 2010

I just thought I would share some fun pictures of our Christmas this year. Mia was so fun to watch open her presents and get all excited! We had a great time together as a family!
Mia was so excited the reindeer ate all their carrots and that Santa left her and Beckett a note!

Look at the look on her face! Priceless!

Mia and her Christmas presents!

Beckett and his Christmas presents

Look at that confused face! What is all this Christmas stuff about?!?

Our family by the Christmas tree on Christmas morning...totally not a flattering shot on me but oh well!

Mia playing with her teaset that Santa brought for her!

Later on Christmas day we went over to Jon's parents house for lunch and to open some presents with them. Well the boys had to grand idea to blow up the gingerbread houses that we had made a few weeks before. So these are the pictures we got of our destroyed gingerbread houses!

I think that Jon is having a little too much fun!

and here is the destroyed gingerbread village!

I hope everyone had a great Christmas this year!

Beckett

I just had to share a cute picture of Beckett. He makes the most absolute heart wrenching sad face and we caught it on camera. Gotta love my 3 month old little baby boy!!!

Christmas Eve 2010

We had a great Christmas Eve this year. Oh course we got some pj's for our christmas eve gift. Mia and Beckett got some matching pj's and it was so cute!!! Although we weren't so sure if Beckett was going to fit in his pj's! But looks he fits and his belly looks so cute!!! (Also Beckett turned 3 months old on Christmas Eve...15 lbs 11 oz and 25 1/2 inches tall...big boy!!! He has the cutest smile, and talks your ear off. He doesn't really cry- he just yells when he is mad! No giggles yet but we can't wait!)

See Beckett's big tummy...and if definetely looks like he ate way too many of Santa's cookies!

Jon and Beckett

Me and Sammy....cool pj's huh?!?
